The idea was that people would get together to make Chemo Caps, with materials and needles supplied by the shop if you didn’t have them. There were lots of very helpful people there, and even an older gentleman showed up and did a bit of knitting! The treats were so good, and we were even helped by other people in the park when one of our tents decided it would rather be a kite:)

So far I’ve made one cap, and am nearly done the second. Now, keep in mind that I am NOT a knitter, and if I can do this, anyone can!

While sitting in my lawn chair, enjoying the beautiful weather, unbeknownst to me I had my photo snapped. One of our local reporters caught me looking like I knew what I was doing, and I ended up in the paper!!

If you are interested in finding some great and easy cap patterns, please contact the wonderful people at The Needle and Arts Centre They also do mail order for all of their yarns and supplies!

Now, off to finish that second cap, add some embellishment, and take photos of this one before I turn it in and get started on the next one!

Welcome!

After a lot of sweat, and tears, and maybe a bit of yelling and cursing (not me, no way), my online shop is alive and well!

I have decided to concentrate on bag-making, as that is a passion that, for me anyway, will not soon wane. There are new patterns arriving on a very regular basis, and the selection of fabrics available has never been as bountiful. I will be carrying the latest fabrics very soon.

If you’re looking for something and don’t see it, chances are I can get it for you. I have wonderful suppliers, and lots of products available to me. Any and all feedback is heartily welcomed.

Enjoy browsing, and throw an item or two into your shopping cart :)

Happy Sewing.
